Dr. Carlson operated a longtime dental practice here during an era when Fort Bragg had relatively few dentists.

Dr. Chuck Jones, DDS, also practiced in the building during the 1970s before moving his office to Cypress Street. Dr. Hooper is another dentist associated with the property through local recollections.

The building also provided eye care. Optometrist Dr. Alan B. Robinson reportedly practiced here during the 1950s. Dr. Lynette Kline later conducted eye examinations at this address before practicing elsewhere in Fort Bragg.

Today, Applied Kinesiology and Laylow Fadez Barber continue the property's tradition of providing appointment-based personal services.
