The Sunshine Inn at 627 North Main Street is one of those Fort Bragg buildings that looked for years like it had already used up all its chances, and then somehow came back.

Sitting on North Main beside the old hospital property, the house is easy to notice now because it looks cared for again. It has been freshened up, steadied, and brought much closer to the kind of place it probably was when it first went up.
