The present Dana Street campus opened for classes in September 1965, with the Class of 1966 remembered as the first graduating class from the new school. That timeline helps explain the different memories people have: many residents graduated from Fort Bragg High School before 1965, but they did so from the earlier campus, not the Dana Street buildings.
